Booked a car service with my travel agent to fly to the east coast. Needed a car one way from Boston to NYC. Walked two miles to pick up the car and arrived at the location first thing in the morning. Did everything I was told.
Great service, no-nonsense. I wasn't charged for an extra day I had to keep the car, since their lot was not accessible.
Manager was rude and unhelpful. Made me feel like I was a criminal for no reason. Made an assumption that I would rent the car, wreck the car, and cheat him out of his money. Never using this company again.
Excellent customer service! you know that sounds generic and typical - Matt usually works this location and he has more than helpful every time and gone out of his way to see that i get the best deal possible. Cars have been fully fueled and very clean, have had a couple rentals at this point. Location is convenient and is good for anyone in the Somerville,Cambridge or Arlington areas
Some businesses are so great it’s not enough to just tell your friends about it. Why do I love this Hertz so much? 1) a real person answers the phone 2) the person is at the location you are calling instead of at a branch somewhere half way across the country 3) people at this branch actually care about your needs. 4) it’s super fast and easy to pick up the car 5) you get what you expected 6) this Hertz location is central yet you don’t have to fight crazy traffic to get to it. I’ve rented from this location several times and the service is consistently great. In fact, it keeps getting better/easier every time because the people who work there actually remember the customers that come through the door. The first time I rented my vehicle needs were a bit specific. I called 5 different companies, each time I was disappointed by the apathy and cookie-cutter service I was getting. It was so refreshing to deal with agent at Hertz – he actually listened to me, had ideas and suggestions, and made sure I drove away in a vehicle that would serve my travel needs. I can’t say enough about this location and the people who work here.

This location does not accept debt cards and that is all I have ever had and will ever have.
