Beautiful old style theater. Great popcorn, with a beer if you like. Saw several live concerts there, too. Great location near lots of bars and eateries, as well as the Red Line.
$7 matinees!! What else needs to be said? great movie selections, beer and wine, the butter in the popcorn is REAL butter, not artificial stuff. I literally saw them drop sticks of butter into the machine. This place is the best!!
Old style theater, reasonably priced ticket for a week night ($10). Decent alcohol options but they only let you buy one drink per person unfortunately. The popcorn was decently tasty.
Unique venue- a centerpiece of Somerville culture and history. Serves decent beer, good movies, church on Sundays, "bad art" in the basement, and many other productions (such as "slutcracker" in December), all in an aging but elegant old theater.
Love Davis square. This is a gorgeous older building that was renovated around 2000 to house both cinemas and concerts. Seats are all very close. Sound quality for the shows is iffy. I’ve been to two shows and they were both very muddy acoustically.
